Event Details

A new law in Washington State requires employers to report lump sum payments, such as bonuses and commissions, for employees with a garnishment order that includes a payment for arrears (unpaid or past-due support). Employers must report to the Washington Division of Child Support before the lump sum is paid to the employee. Are you in compliance with these new requirements?

During this webinar, you will learn about:

  • The new lump sum reporting mandate, including the types of payments that must be reported and how to report
  • New hire reporting requirements, child support income withholding orders, and the National Medical Support Notice (NSMN)
  • Best practices for employers and payroll professionals
