This session focuses on the busiest time of year for any payroller – year end. It explains the statutory processes that payrollers must undertake in the United Kingdom throughout the year building up to what needs to be done to move payroll successfully into the new tax year 2025/2026. The course will also provide an overview of what is new in the U.K. for payroll. The following points will be covered:

• Tax year, calendar, and the year-end timetable
• Controlling and reconciling your payments to HMRC including the HMRC Dashboard
• The Real Time Information System
• The reporting cycle and the EPS window, P60 certificates, and the P11D process
