Payroll Practice Essentials is the first step in the Progression Series. Acquire the payroll knowledge, skills, and abilities required to produce accurate paychecks and ensure payroll compliance. This course teaches fundamental pay calculations through hands-on exercises, then moves on to more complex concepts and calculations.

The virtual classroom uses an online training center. The course is presented in segments which cannot be purchased separately.

Interactive Virtual
Schedule: Classroom opens: 8:15 a.m.
Class: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Interactive Virtual course uses Zoom. There will be morning and afternoon breaks and a lunch break.

In-Person Classroom
Schedule: Registration 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Credit Information

Earn up to 18 Recertification Credit Hours (RCHs), 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or 21 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Delivery Method: Group Live or Group Internet-Based. Program Level: Overview. No advance preparation or prerequisites required. Fields of Study: Taxes=15, Business Law=4, Communication and Marketing=2
